The Lady Hornets travel to Jefferson City for Varsity/JV softball games tonight. Start time is 5:00. Games will be played on their new turf field. Warning to fans going to the game, there is a soccer game, a home football game, and the softball game. You might want to get to the games a little early to find parking.
The JV Hornets follow up the varsity with a big win over Jamestown. They win the 3 inning game 8-0. Great day to be a 🐝

Today was a great day to celebrate Chiefs and our favorite sports teams! There were so many kids who participated! Here's a few photos!
Our current 5th graders brought in the most Box Tops last year and were awarded cupcakes from the Life Skills class today!
The Hornets pick up their second win of the young season. The beat the Jamestown Eagles 10-0.
Spanish students had a dress up day. They had to say (in Spanish) something about what someone was wearing and where that person was going dressed that way.
The Baseball Hornets open their home season tonight as they host the Jamestown Eagles. Start time 5:00...varsity followed by some JV. Come out and support the Hornets!!
Help the National Honor Society raise money for the Cancer Awareness Game!
NHS will be selling Cancer Tshirts for this game. Shirts will be $15. Order forms will be sent home on Friday. Please return the order form with payment by Wednesday, September 11.

Not to be out done by the Lady Hornets, the baseball Hornets open the season with a big win. Two Hornet pitchers combine for a no-hitter striking out 14 of 15 batters. The Hornets go onto win, 13-0 over Pilot Grove.
The Lady Hornets continue their roll with excellent pitching, defense, and offense. Two Lady Hornets combine for a one hit, shutout and the offense rolls. The Lady Hornets improve to 5-0 on the season and defeat Pilot Grove, 17-0. 💛🖤💛🖤

The schedule for the Baseball & Softball games at Pilot Grove on Monday, Sept. 3rd. Softball will play at 5:00 and the Baseball game will be played after. There will NOT be any JV games.

The Lady Hornets held off the Lady Jays 7th-inning surge. They won the Union Tournament, 7-5 over the Jefferson City Lady Jays. Proud to be a Hornet!! 🖤💛🥎🐝
The Lady Hornets take on the Jefferson City Lady Jays for the Union Tournament Championship. Reagan Wobbe joins the "Smash Sisters Club" by hitting a solo shot in the top of the first inning. The Lady Hornets added 1 run in the second inning, 3 in the fourth inning, and 2 more in the fifth inning. The Lady Jays plate 1 in the third, 1 in the sixth, and 3 in the seventh. But the Lady Hornets hold on for the 7-5 win!!
The Lady Hornets' bats went a little quiet, but their defense stayed strong! They defeated the Borgia Lady Knights, 10-5. The Smash Sisters had some fun!!
Next up, Jefferson City Lady Jays, for the championship!!
Allie Williams and Kinley Kemna couldn't be outdone by Charli...they both hit 2-run home runs in the bottom of the 3rd to extend the lead 10-3.
