
In a battle of state ranked teams, the Hornets fall to the Wheatland Mules 54-51.








The Lady Hornets played tough, but fell to the Waynesville Lady Tigers, 50-40.











The Lady Hornets lead the Lady Tigers, 20-16, at the half.

**SPORTS UPDATE**
Both boys and girls basketball teams are in action today. The girls take on the Waynesville Lady Tigers, at Waynesville, 12:30 pm. The boys play the Wheatland Mules, at Weaubleau, 2:30 pm.


What a game in Eugene. It was back and forth most of the night but the Eagles prevail over the Hornets, 67-61.










The JV Hornets pick up the energy after the first quarter and defeat Eugene, 37-29.










Due to not many updates, the Hornet Buzz will go out January 6th with important updates for January.

Grades 7-12 participated in Reindeer Games this afternoon. Seniors were the winners!


7th Grade Physical Science finished out the semester with their final project: A Paper Roller Coaster. Students worked hard on their designs, checked off all criteria, demonstrated the transformations of kinetic and potential energy, and had successful marble runs today!

Business Technology presented their Chocolate Factories today! Mrs. Musick and Mrs. Holtmeyer got to test out their delicious chocolates! 🍫










SADD Hot Chocolate Friday is tomorrow! Hot chocolate costs $1!


**SPORTS UPDATE**
Because a threat at Osage high school today, they have had to cancel the girls' basketball game for tonight. We will try to reschedule.


Just like the people in Whoville, we had a Christmas Feast! Mrs. Musick decorated the cafeteria with the help of Mrs. Voss and some art students and Liz and Phylis prepared the feast! Hoping this is a new tradition for us!







**SPORTS TODAY**
The Lady Hornets travel to Osage high school to take on the Lady Indians, tonight at 6 pm. It will be full JV and Varsity.


Elephant toothpaste in 2nd grade and Christmas bingo with preschool today!





We had a great turnout for cookie decorating with Captain Cookie and her crew! Thank you to Liz, Betty, and Robbie Johnson, Ms. Steinbeck and Kai, Mrs. Chipman, Mrs. Voss, Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Wieberg, and Mrs. Horton for helping! The kids all got to take treats home with them. 🍪








It was an exciting, nail biting game for our Varsity Hornets! We held the lead at the very end to win against Dixon, 62-59! Way to go, Hornets!
