JH Life Science has been BUSY learning about cells. Properly labeled, edible cells are always a sweet and fun way to end wrap up the unit!

Students in grades 7-12 need to finish selling raffle tickets tonight and turn in tomorrow morning. We appreciate your support in purchasing these tickets. Our 5th graders traveled to Mary's Home today for a Veteran's Assembly. They learned more about Veterans, how to properly fold the flag, and the 21 gun salute.
JH Hornets led the court against Vienna and win, 44-27!
JH Lady Hornets take care of business against conference rival Vienna with a final score of 41-11!
The JV Lady Hornets take care of the Russellville JV Lady Indians, 5-3.
The Lady Indians of Russellville made it interesting in the bottom half of the 7th inning...but the Lady Hornets prevail, 6-4.
JH "B" Hornets almost came back at the end against Vienna. They come up short, 20-15.
JH Lady "B" Hornets had a great start to our night at Vienna with a win, 22-0!

Hat Day for a Cause is Tomorrow! Students and staff can bring in $1 to wear a hat. This event is optional! All money raised will be donated to a Dixon teacher's family who is battling brain cancer.
