It was a great evening for Carnival! Thank you to all who came out!
Tonight at Carnival we will be having a Bag of Prize area where you can purchase special tickets to enter a chance to win that bag of goodies. We will draw the winning ticket for each bag right before Coronation.
Our bag's themes are Basketball Season Pass, BBQ Seasoning, Front Row Christmas Concert Seats, Cozy, Kids Playtime, Popcorn, Smores, Student Passes, Tailgate, Mrs. Otto's cookies, and two Alice Oligschlaeger pies. Carnival games and Taco Bar are open 4:30 - 6:30 pm. Raffle announcements and Coronation will start at 7:00 pm.
The JV Lady Hornet also get a conference win. They defeated the JV Lasy Eagles, 6-0.
The JH Lady Hornets made it a quick night against conference rival Bunceton. We took the win with a score of 45-8!

The Lady Hornets played 9 runs in the 5th inning, and held the Jamestown Lady Eagles, to win the Show-Me Central conference matchup, 12-0! Way to go Lady Hornets!!

JH Life Science has been BUSY learning about cells. Properly labeled, edible cells are always a sweet and fun way to end wrap up the unit!

SAVE THE DATE: Friday, November 7th the Junior Class will be hosting a Fish Fry at the Community Center from 4:00 - 7:00 and the Student Community Outreach Program (SCOP) will be hosting a free Fall Fest for the Community on the School Blacktop from 5:30 - 7:00. Come out for some great food and fall fun!

Food and games are from 4:30-6:30. Raffle and coronation at 7:00 pm. Families with children in grades K-10 are asked to donate a cake. Families with children in grades 11-12 are asked to donate a dessert. If you have children in both age groups, please bring a cake. You can bring those in tomorrow morning. Students in grades 7-12 need to finish selling raffle tickets tonight and turn in tomorrow morning. We appreciate your support in purchasing these tickets. All proceeds from the Carnival and raffle go to help reduce the cost of purchasing the yearbook.
