Lady Hornets win big on their first game of the season. Final score 33-2. The Lady Hornets will play Friday night at 6:30pm.





The Junior High Lady Hornets are in action this afternoon at the Richland Tournament. The Lady Hornets have a 22-0 lead over Joel E. Barber at halftime.






Jamestown was without lights tonight, so the JV teams only got to play 2 innings. The JV Lady Hornets beat the JV Lady Eagles, 1-0.











Hornets win the 1st round of the tourney with a final score of 52-19. The Hornets will play Thursday night at 7:45 vs. Iberia or Newburg.






The Lady Eagles get a run in the bottom of the 6th. Reagan Wobbe leads off the Lady Hornets half of the 7th with a triple out to right center. Ella Lucas reaches base on a dropped third strike, but Reagan scores. The Lady Eagles go scoreless in the bottom of the 7th. Lady Hornets win 8-1.











Junior High Hornets start their season tonight at the Richland Tournament Vs Laquey. StE leads 34-6 at halftime.





Lady Hornets keep scoring at least one run each inning. We are through five innings, and the Lady Hornets lead the Lady Eagles, 7-0.









Lady Hornets traveled to Jamestown to take on the Lady Eagles. The Lady Hornets manufacture 3 runs in the first inning. The Lady Eagles threaten with a runner on 3rd, but that's as close to home as she got. The Lady Hornets score 2 more in the top of the 2nd and now lead the Lady Eagles, 5-0.











The fall softball Cancer Awareness game will be held on September 21. This years proceeds will go towards two local men battling cancer, Trevor Burrows and Mike Blomberg. JV Lady Hornets win 10-0 in 3 innings over the Lady Jays. Great game girls!




The JH Lady Hornets jump out to a 5-0 lead after the 1st inning.




Going into the bottom of the 7th inning with the Lady Jay leading 2-1. Chloe starts the Lady Hornets off with a walk. Riley tries moving Chloe around with some bunt work and working the pitcher hard which allows Chloe to advance to 2nd base on a wild pitch. Sarah comes in the pitch run for Chloe. Riley hits a pop fly between CF and RF and it drops. Runners on the corners. Lauren come in to pitch run for Riley. Wild pitch allows Sarah to score, all tied up 2-2. Olivia drives in the winning run. Lady Hornets gets the BIG 3-2 WIN over the Lady Jays.





The Lady Jays tie the game at 1-1 in the top of the 5th inning. Let's get the bats going Lady Hornets.

In Battle of the Books, students listen to and read the 2023-2024 Truman and Gateway-nominated books. This leads up to a Battle of the Books competition hosted in January in which members will compete as a team. Members can also compete in the bookmark and book trailer contests for the 2024-2025 nominees from March to May. This Club is open to all Junior High and High School students.
