And that's a Hornet sweep! The JV Hornets beat the JV Lakeland Vikings, 4-2.
Hornet bars EXPLODE in the top of the 5th. They plate 5 more runs. Aiden Otto comes in to pitch the bottom of the 5th. The Vikings put two men on, but the Hornets keep them from getting past 2nd base. The final score is 12-0, Hornets with the "W".
Hornet bars come alive in the 3rd and 4th innings. We are headed to the top of the 5th, and the Hornets lead the Vikings, 7-0.

Representative Bruce Sassmann visited the St. Elizabeth School District on Wednesday, September 20. Rep. Sassmann represents all of Osage and Gasconade Counties and parts of Miller and Montgomery Counties (District 61) in the Missouri House of Representatives. While there he had the opportunity to visit with individual students as well as whole class discussing various topics in history, state government, science and chemistry, as well as poetry. Representative Sassmann also visited with Superintendent Doug Kempker on topics that are likely to reemerge during the spring legislative session. Both Representative Sassmann and Mr. Kempker feel that open enrollment will be a hot topic this spring. Thank you for representing our school district and communities.

The JV Lady Rangers took the lead in the third inning over the Lady Hornets. The Lady Hornets tried to fight back, but the Lady Rangers held onto the their 11-4 lead.
The "A" boys come away with a victory this evening in Richland with a 42-26 victory.
A well played 1st have gives the Hornets a 23-9 lead at halftime. Keep it going boys.
