🏀The basketball game tonight at Dixon has been cancelled.
❄️💃The HS Formal Dance for Saturday Night has been cancelled. The dance will now be January 27th.
School will de dismissed at 11:15 today due to freezing weather conditions on the roadways. Aftercare will conclude at 12:15. Be safe Hornets.
The Lady Hornets took it on the chin tonight. The Strafford Lady Indians beat the Lady Hornets, 72-34.
Congratulations to New Bloomfield for winning the St. E Scholar Bowl Invitational. Our St. E "A" team finished second by falling to the Wildcats, 160-150.
Also, Congrats to Sam Luetkemeyer for making the all tournament team.
The Strafford Lady Indians cannot miss. At halftime they lead our Lady Hornets, 46-16.
The JV Lady Indians were just too much for the JV Lady Hornets. The Lady Indians win the 1/2 game, 28-7.
Tonight is our home academic bowl even. We are hosting New Bloomfield, Iberia A and B teams, Chamios, and Eugene A and B teams we are also pleased to have former members of the 2022 State Champion team to be our moderators. Welcome back Lane Hodge, Andrew Lindenbusch, Jace Kesel, and Trey Struemph.
Congrats to Braxton and Paisley for being the lucky winners of our 2nd quarter AR winners. They won a $10 gift card to Walmart.
The Lady Hornets travel to Strafford to take on the Lady Indians tonight. There will only be 1/2 JV followed by varsity.
Movie Day🎞️!! Students are celebrating meeting their 2nd quarter AR goal. Congrats!

Varsity girls are the #1 seed in the Osage Invitational Tournament. The Lady Hornets will play January 15th at 4pm.
Iberia Tournament Bracket for January 15-19. Good luck to our Hornets and our JV Hornets, as both teams are in the 62nd Iberia Invitational.
1st and 2nd grade AR night is January 16 from 3:00-4:30pm. Please email Mrs. Lackman or your classroom teacher if your child will be attending.

2nd Quarter AR party is tomorrow for those who met their goals. They may bring a blanket, pillow, and snack. A drink will be provided.
The Boys' and Girls' Basketball games at Tuscumbia have been cancelled for tonight, Jan. 9th.
Due to the uncertainty on timing for today's weather event, St. Elizabeth School District will be closed today, January 9, 2024.
