
The Lady Hornets held the Higbee Lady Tigers to three, 7-point quarters to win the District Championship game, 51-36!! Proud to be a Hornet!!











The Lady Hornets came out firing on all cylinders. The Higbee Lady Tigers made a little comeback, but the Lady Hornets maintain a 28-22 lead at halftime.











Congratulations to our deer contest winners, as they were announced today. Best picture, goes to Brendan Doerhoff. The two biggest bucks were Kyson Green and Nick Heckemeyer.
A special thanks to our student judge who had a very difficult time deciding.

🏀🐝 District Basketball Update 🐝🏀
The Lady Hornets take on the Higbee Lady Tigers tonight at 5:30 pm, for the District Championship! Come out and cheer on your Lady Hornets. The game can also be streamed on mshsaa.tv, for $10.


There will be a Parent-Athlete meeting for any student wanting to run Track this Spring. The meeting will be Sunday night, Feb. 25th, in the cafeteria at 5:30.


St. E had a great game plan, and they stuck to it. Kept the pressure on, and the shots falling. St. E defeats Hermitage, 57-29. They will play in the championship game on Sat. Night at 6:00.











The St. E Hornets are using their tough defense, and team play against the Hermitage Hornets. At the half St. E leads, 27-11.

The Hornets play in semifinal district play tonight at 7:00. The game will be played at Macks Creek, and they will take on the Hermitage Hornets. You may stream the game on MSHSAA.tv, for $10.


The Lady Hornets gained a lead, but they let the Lady Eagles claw their way back into the game. But the Lady Hornets hit free throws in the last minute to take the 47-40 win. They play in the district championship game Friday night, Feb. 23rd, 5:30 start time, at Blair Oaks HS.











The Lady Hornets are playing pretty good defense. They lead the Jamestown. Lady Eagles 27-14 at the half.










The Lady Hornets open up District play tonight. They take on the Jamestown Lady Eagles at 5:30 pm. The game will be played at Blair Oaks HS. You may also watch it on mshsaa.tv, for $10/game.


The Hornets continued their hot shooting into the 2nd half. They defeat the Tuscumbia Lions, 96-42. Their next game will be Thursday, Feb. 22, at 7:00 pm, against the Hermitage-Calvary Lutheran winner.











Hornets come out hot early, and stay that way. The Tuscumbia Lions cannot handle the Hornet's pressure. The Hornets take a 51-18 lead into the locker room.











All District games, boys and girls, can be watched on MSHSAA.tv. The cost is $10 per game.


If you are heading to the Boys' district game tonight, they play at Mack's Creek at 5:00. Fans should sit beyond the half court line, on the far end of the gym. You may sit on either side.


Congratulations to our archers for placing in our tournament this past weekend. Henry Wilde placed 1st in the Elementary Boys Division. Abram Wankum placed 2nd in Middle School Boys. Claire Gibson placed 3rd in Middle School Girls.
Also, Abram Wankum placed 2nd in the Middle School Division in the Eugene Archery Tournament!



In the very final Show Me Conference basketball game, after a 45 year history, the Hornets take the victory, 73-54.









Our Varsity Hornets lead 26-20, not a beautiful first half but a lead 🖤🏀💛! Hoping for Hornet domination in the second half!









The JV season is complete. The boys end the season with a 19-4 record. They defeat the Lions 34-28.
