The Hornets Baseball team traveled to Ozark Mountain Stadium for a 2-game day. The lost to Silo, 10-3. Next up is Purdy at 2:00.

The Lady Hornets opened their season with a split decision. They beat Rolla, 6-4...and lost to Festus, 8-1.

It was a good night for Lady Hornets. In the Jamboree, they beat Tuscumbia 5-1, and the beat Iberia 3-2.

It was a great day for our first club sponsored blood drive! Thank you SADD for putting this on and big thank you to our student and community donors!

Our PTO fundraiser is about to begin! Mr. Money is coming on Friday to explain all the fundraising details. Here is some information before then.

Today was our staffs first day back at it and we worked together to develop our "First Principles" that will help guide all of our decisions and actions at school. Together, we developed Educate Today, Empower for Tomorrow, and Expect Always. It's going to be a great year!

We can't wait to see you at Open House on Thursday from 5:00-6:30!

Please start in the gym for family enrollment packets, transportation info, and tables to stop and see. Packets will include MAP/EOC scores, schedules, locker numbers, and family enrollment information.
Then spend your time checking out the school, visiting classrooms, and meeting your teacher or teachers!
Bought a yearbook? Yearbooks will be in elementary classrooms and in Mrs. Holtmeyer's room for grades 6-12.
Chromebook checkout will be in library for grades 6-12.
Senior parent meeting will be at 6:00 in the multimedia lab.

Welcome Mrs. Amy Hoecker to our school! We are so excited to have you join!

Hello!
This is my 12th year in education. I double majored in elementary education and special education and have my masters in administration. Throughout my time in education, I have gained experience with all students K-12 and truly have just come to love being able to support kids throughout their time in school.

My spare time is usually filled with kids' sports, but when there is a moment, I love binging a true crime documentary, watching the Chiefs, or rooting for Mizzou.

I am very excited to be a part of this school and community. Although I did not grow up here, being tied to the area since I was 17, brings a sense of comfort being back. Everyone from fellow co-workers and community members have gone above and beyond to make my family and I feel welcome! It's going to be a great year!
