Long time, legendary, Hall of Fame coach Rodney Haley once said, the only thing good about an ugly win is that it is a win. That sums up tonight's JV game against Crocker. The Hornets struggled but played defense in the final seconds to sneak away with a 34-31 victory.

The Hornets advance to the semifinal round of the Dixon JV tournament. They defeated Richland this evening, 73-34. They will Stoutland on Wednesday at 6:30.

The second half was just as close as the first. The Lady Hornets secured a lead, and the Lady Wildcats had to foul to try to stay in it. The Lady Hornets hit free throws down the stretch for a 42-33 win! They will play Saturday night, 6pm, for the championship.

World History was “scrambling” for Africa today. They completed a simulation of European powers taking over the continent.
2nd grade has been learning about the states of matter. Today they watched a snowman go through all three states.
