We had three students participate in the Show Me Conference Spelling Bee, Averi Gilpin, Vincent Ash, and Josie Musick. Rosemary Scheulen came as an alternate. There were around 40 participants from grades 5-8 in our conference. Averi Gilpin made it through round 1. Vincent Ash made it to the top 5. Josie Musick received 2nd place and a medal. Congratulations to our participants!

Students in grades 1-6 who met their AR goal had their 2nd quarter AR reward party--movie in the gym! Great job readers! Kindergarten was invited to see how fun an AR party is so they can work to earn it next year.
