Boys baseball and girls basketball camp will begin tomorrow. If your child is attending baseball camp, please send them with their baseball gear and sunscreen already applied. If your child is attending girl basketball camp, make sure they wear tennis shoes to school.


Summer School will be headed to the movie theater for Movie Monday tomorrow and then to Eldon parks in the afternoon. The movie, concessions, snack, and lunch are provided. Please DO NOT send money with your child(ren). Parents may NOT attend the movie but may join us at the parks. See the itinerary for full details.


If your child is going to participate in the summer school Skyzone Field Trip June 7, please ensure you have filled out their waiver at
skyzone.com/columbiamo
so they are able to participate. Paper forms are also adequate. Students who went on the AR trip this year already have waivers complete.

Tomorrow is our first Field Trip Friday for summer school! We are heading to Runge Nature Center & Strikers in Jeff City. Lunch, snacks, bowling shoes and all activities are provided. Please DO NOT send any money with your child(ren). Parents may attend but must pay for their activities. See itinerary for full details.


Spring Season Awards:
**Track will have their end-of-year awards on Sunday, June 2nd at 7 pm.
**Baseball awards will be Tuesday, June 4th at 6 pm.



Pictures Continued!!
Our Junior High tested the water quality of the creek by riffling water and identifying macroinvertebrates. They also built a fire to roast hot dogs and s’mores, and enjoyed the afternoon in the water fishing and swimming. It was a beautiful day!








6th-8th grade Cemetery and Creek Day. They learned about Old St . Elizabeth and the cemetery and then traveled to Massman's Slab for some activities. More pictures to come!






Itinerary


Students are allowed to bring money for concessions at the pool tomorrow. If you send money, please send it in a marked envelope or bag. Lunch and snack will be provided by school.

Please send sunscreen, towel, money for concessions (in a marked bag or envelope) and a lifejacket if needed. Parents are welcome to attend and swim but will need to pay at the gate. The full itinerary is attached.

Tomorrow is our 2nd Water Wednesday for summer school. Due to a leak in the pool at our original destination, our plans have changed. Swim Day will now be at Camdenton Aquatic Center. As a reminder please send your child(ren) to school in their swimsuits with a tshirt or coverup and water appropriate shoes.

Koebel's ATA Martial Arts provided 45 minutes karate lessons to students on the first day of summer school. They received business cards with 50 % off a 6 week trial session.






Gavin Williams pitched a gem of a game, but we couldn't generate enough hits to score anyone. Hornets season comes to an end, they lost 3-1, to the Sacred Heart Gremlins.
