**SPORTS TODAY** The Lady Hornets open up Districts today, in Glasgow. Game time is 7:00, but will most likely start later. Admission is $6, ages 6 and up. They will be taking cash at the gate, NO digital tickets. The softball field is at the high school-860 Randolph St, Glasgow

Tomorrow is the fundraiser pickup from 3:15-5:30 in the cafeteria. All money is due then. Please make checks payable to St. Elizabeth PTO.

Please do not park in front of the Community Center Tuesday & Wednesday. The Quilt Group will be in there on those days. Thank you!

The JV Lady Hornets had a slow first inning. They fought back, but came up just short. They lost to the JV Lady Lions of Crocker, 6-5.

It took a little while, but the Lady Hornets defeat the Crocker Lady Lions, 25-9. There were 4 home runs hit by the Lady Hornets - Reagan and Kinley did it the easy way, Charli and Allie had inside-the-park HRs!

**WEEKLY SPORTS UPDATE** *10-13 - SB vs Crocker - A, 5:00. Var/ 3JV *10-15 to 10-20 - SB DISTRICTS at Glasgow Lady Hornets will play Wed., Oct 15th vs the Madison & Pilot Grove winner. Game time set for 7:00, possible it will start later than that.

The Lady Hornets just couldn't seem to get the hits to find the gaps. The lose to the Rolla Lady Bulldogs, 8-4.

The Lady Hornets score 3 in the first inning, but then the bats went silent. The Ozark Lady Tigers plated 2 on the fifth, 1 in the sixth, and 1 in the seventh to take the 4-3 victory from the Lady Hornets. Next game will be at 2:00, Schuman Park.

**CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY** *SB plays Ozark in the Rolla tourney at 10 am. They play at Schuman Park today. 404 E. 16th St., Rolla. *BB plays Vienna, at Vienna, in the SMCC Conference Championship at 5 pm. No concessions will be available. GO HORNETS!!!

The Nixa Lady Eagles scored the first 3 runs, but the Lady Hornets scored the next 14!! The Lady Hornets win, 14-4. They play at 10:00 am Saturday morning, in Rolla, at Ber Juan Field.

Learning all about Johnny Appleseed and how to cut apples in kindergarten also means a great treat--apple nachos! They were delicious! 😋 🍏 🍎

We have our first 3rd grader who has passed all her multiplication tests up to her 10s and mixed review! She earned her bracelet and a popsicle! I hear there will be more next week!

Thank you to St. Elizabeth Fire Department for talking to our PK-2nd graders about fire safety! Sadly, the rain didn't let us go see the fire truck, but we will be anxious to see it next year! 👨‍🚒

SMCC TOURNAMENT CHANGE The Baseball Hornets will now play for the championship at 7:00 pm, tonight!

The Lady Hornets came ready to play. They defeat the Owensville Dutchgirls, 13-2, in the first round of the Rolla tournament. Next up, the Nixa Lady Eagles.
