
Elementary students volunteered to help at our local food pantry. They helped organize and place items in boxes for families. Thank you for learning and participating in community service.

6th Grade Earth Science finished up their unit on plate tectonics today. We ended with a bang, constructing simple volcanoes and analyzing explosiveness.





We read “How to Catch A Turkey”. Made Turkey traps. Then the kids caught their Thanksgiving Turkeys

The season opener for the girls varsity tonight. At the half, the Hornets lead the Eagles from Jamestown, 33-10.

High School basketball has begun…home opener. First up, JV Boys…go get those Eagles!


Home Basketball opener tonight. The Hornets/Lady Hornets take on the Jamestown Eagles/Lady Eagles. Games start at 5:00. Full JV Boys, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys. It will be broadcast on the NFHS Network, with a paid subscription.


Preschool is starting Thanksgiving week with Pumpkin Pie in a cup. It was delicious




Thank you tRich and Diane for conducting the Missouri Hunter Education course for our students. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about hunter responsibility, firearms safety, and much more.





3rd grade had their very own Macy Day Parade. They made balloons to resemble the parade floats. They did an excellent job making them and parading them around the school this afternoon.





2nd grade followed the steps of the design process to build bridges using only toothpicks and marshmallows. The winning group’s bridge was able to hold 62 pennies!





Congratulations to the “A” Honor Roll Elementary students. These students earned an “A” in their classes for 1st quarter. Keep working hard!

Here are the brackets for the 36th Annual Eugene Tournament. The tournament will be held November 28-December 3 at Eugene.
