2nd grade followed the steps of the design process to build bridges using only toothpicks and marshmallows. The winning group’s bridge was able to hold 62 pennies!

Here are the brackets for the 36th Annual Eugene Tournament. The tournament will be held November 28-December 3 at Eugene.
Not the night the Hornets wanted. After a tie game at the half, the Rangers take the victory, 88-60.
Our home opening for both boys and girls is Tuesday night against Jamestown. Come out and support the Hornets.
At the half of the varsity game! The Hornets and the Rangers are knotted up at 35.
JV Hornets have a great second half and defeat the Rangers by a score of 56-29.
Tip-off to the 2022-2023 season tonight vs. Iberia. At the end of the first half of JV game, the Hornets lead 22-21.
The high school boys open up their season tonight at Iberia. Game time is 6:00, and there will be a full JV followed by the varsity game.
NHS Blood Drive collected 35 units of blood. Thank you to everyone that took time out of their day to give blood. We are very proud of our students that signed up to donate blood.

We had a great turnout for the Softball Awards held tonight. All 13 of the Varsity players earned Academic All-Conference. To attain this honor they had to maintain a 3.5 GPA, and co tribute to the varsity team. Our total team, 23 girls, GPA was 3.90!! Proud to be a Hornet!!
